I have a 10 dollar yellow silver certificate 1934A . Can you tell me what a star serial number is?
Thank you,
Dick
Hi, a star serial number contains a star symbol at the beginning of the serial number instead of a letter.
These are much rarer on the 1934 and 1934A $10 North Africa notes. 1934 $10 North Africa stars are extremely rare while 1934A $10 stars are somewhat rare. Both the former and latter are highly collectible!
